Prof. Dr. Anja-Xiaoxing Cui

Anja-Xiaoxing Cui studied piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln from 2005 to 2012 and psychology at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum from 2009 to 2012. She completed her master’s degree (2014) and PhD (2019) at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada with the help of the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst and a Vanier Scholarship by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Her postdoctoral work at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada is supported by a fellowship by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Her research interests include auditory perception, particularly of music and language, and the intersection of music and learning.
